Regional Imaging Timeline | Greensboro Radiology

Regional Imaging Timeline

Greensboro Radiology pioneered the Southeast's first regional imaging timeline

Our regional PACS links 10 hospitals and dozens of outpatient imaging locations into a single patient timeline

Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) is a type of technology used in radiology that allows hospitals and referring physicians to have convenient access to imaging studies.  By utilizing the Canopy Partners PACS system, there is no need for referring offices to rely on film images.

What does the Regional Imaging Timeline do for you?

  • Acquires digital images of your exam when your study is performed at one of our partnering facilities (see list below)

  • Sends your images immediately to a radiologist for interpretation

  • Sends your report to the referring physician in a very timely manner

  • Stores your images so that a referring physician can have quick and easy access to them 24/7/365.

  • Eliminates the need for duplicate studies

  • Helps to avoid fragmented patient care
